GIVING IS NOT JUST ABOUT MAKING A DONATION, IT'S ABOUT MAKING A DIFFERENCE !
Our Impact
The Gwags Foundation has supported over 500 under-resourced children through hands-on engagement, not only by providing essentials like food, clothing, and educational materials, but also through programs that ignite creativity, confidence, and community. Our initiatives introduce children to arts and technology in joyful, engaging ways. Through interactive games, workshops, and introductory coding activities like Scratch, we’re helping kids discover their voice, spark their imagination, and build early foundations for personal growth and lifelong learning.
What We Do
At The Gwags Foundation, we are committed to empowering under-resourced children beyond their basic needs. Our mission is to unlock potential by creating joyful, skill-building experiences that blend care with creativity. Here’s a snapshot of our work:
Technological Empowerment
We introduce children in institutional care to the world of technology through partnerships like our collaboration with CODAM Technology, a local Douala-based startup. Together, we hosted hands-on tech workshops — including 3D printing demonstrations and basic coding workshops — that gave children their first exposure to digital tools, expanding their sense of what’s possible.
Interactive and Educational Games
Our visits are structured around learning-through-play. We design activities that foster collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity — from group problem-solving challenges and team debates, to storytelling circles, basic coding games, and hands-on STEM activities using recycled materials. Each experience is built to strengthen emotional intelligence and cognitive skills, while ensuring children feel engaged, seen, and inspired to learn.
Support Through Donations
While we continue to provide resources like food, clothing, books, and educational supplies, our goal is no longer just to give — but to equip. Every contribution supports our long-term strategy of building curiosity, confidence, and capability in the communities we serve.

We Provide Care
We believe young people need consistent guidance and care. That’s why we design environments where learning and joy go hand-in-hand.
We
Educate
We partner with local leaders to run small-scale tech-focused workshops for children with limited digital education access.
We Accept
Volunteers
The Gwags Foundation thrives on collaboration. Whether you want to teach, donate, or just show up with heart and hands, there’s a role for you in this movement to help every child rise.
We might be a young foundation, but our numbers speak for themselves.
We have numbers that push us to give in our best and make sure that we break our own records. We are happy to be growing and helping more day by day.

Despite our young age, we at The Gwags Foundation believe we carry a responsibility to stand beside the most overlooked children in our communities. These under-resourced youth reveal not only the gaps in our systems, but also the potential within them. Supporting these children isn’t just a gesture of goodwill — it’s a blueprint for equity. Our mission is to provide not only comfort, but capability. We are guided by purpose and grounded in faith, believing that every act of service is an extension of grace. Each project is a reminder that hope isn’t something we donate — it’s something we build, together.
